Fears held for patient
The Christchurch police hold fears for the safety of a Sunnyside Hospital patient, aged 29, who has been missing from the hospital since Tuesday. The patient, Selwyn Rex Russ, was last seen at 12.30 p.m. on Tuesday, wearing a striped white shirt, grey trousers, and black shoes. He has a medical condition. He is 183 cm (6ft) tall, of medium build, with brown hair, brown eyes, and an olive complexion. t he police are also looking for four young men who have escaped from custody. caped from the cells at the District Court. Three men who escaped from the Rolleston Prison last week-end were still at large late last evening. Michael Gavin Rennie, aged 21, escaped from the prison on Sunday evening. He is European, about 172 cm (sft Bin) tall, of thin build, with brown hair and green eyes. ’ Two other men escaped from the prison on Saturday. They are Gregory Wayne Armishaw. aged 23. and Philip Alexander Hardy, aged 23. Armishaw is 184 cm (6ft) tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. Hardy is 172 cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
