N.I. wheat rust
Striped wheat rust has broken out on Manawatu farms, after an epidemic on South Island farms this season. The rust, Puccinia striiforms. was discovered in wheat crops at Kairanga by the D.S.I.R. and Ministry of Agriculture this week.—(PA)
