Accident victim named
The police have released the name of the man who died when a Ministry of Works and Development truck left the road and overturned near Lake Pearson on Wednesday evening. He was Stuart Bryce Lockwood, aged 44j of Cass, the driver of the truck. A passenger. Dean Malcolm Parker, aged 26, who suffered head injuries, was reported to be in a satisfactory condition in Christchurch Hospital last evening. The accident occurred on State Highway 73, about five kilometres east of Cass.
