‘Press’ golf classic
More than 300 golfers will play in “The Press” Garden City Golf Classic at the two Harewood courses on Saturday and Sunday. This year the organising committee has elected as its charities a set of electronic bed and chair scales for the Department of Nephrology
which will monitor the progress of kidney patients after dialysis treatment and also a Viewscan portable electronic reading aid for the Low Vision Care Clinic at the Christchurch Hospital. The draw for the shotgun start tournament appears on page 29 of “The Press.”
