$3000 for broodmare
PA Hamilton The broodmare, Appraise, fetched the top price of $3OOO at a mixed thoroughbred sale conducted by Dalgety Bloodstock at Te Rapa on Monday. Appraise, a seven-year-old daughter of Karayar and the highly-ranked mare, Tabulate, was offered on account of Mr H. Saade, of Melbourne, and was purchased by the Riverside Stud, Cambridge.
