Netball coach retained
PA Wellington The national netball coach, Lois Muir, of Otago, has been reappointed for the next two seasons.
Mrs Muir retained her position on the first ballot at the meeting in Wellington of the national association’s council. Opposing her were Marian Smith, of North Shore, and Cath Brown, of Canterbury.
The manager this year in the . unbeaten run’ against England and Australia, Betty Steffensen, was also reappointed. Next year New’ Zealand will tour'England in November and play in a world tournament in Singapore in 1983. Trials for the tour will be in the Hutt Valley in September and for the world tournament in Manawatu in April. 1983
