Abortion clinic

Sir,—Pauline Johnstone (October 26) writes a convincing letter, but I could not make out whether the lines, “Adoption is unthinkable to caring women,” are her opinion, or a quote of someone else’s. Whichever it may be I consider that for priggishness and sheer stupidity it would take some beating, and to the countless numbers of mothers, fathers, and families who have, and have been, accepted by adoption it is a direct insult.— Yours, etc., FRANK W. EVANS. October 26, 1981.
