Cross-bow inquiry
The police were called to an address near Christchurch Hospital last evening after a report that a man had fired a cross-bow.
■ The investigating constables found that the man had been practising with the weapon, and that a bolt from it. had “skipped across the road.”. There' were no injuries. . The man was spoken to by the police/ but it was not known whether any prosecution would follow.
