PA . Auckland . Auckland watersiders resumed work at the Fergusson. container terminal yesterday but a ban on Sunday alftd public-holiday work remains. The Auckland Waterside Workers’ Union banned Sunday and public-holiday work at the terminal after its members were not called out to unload the container vessel, Southland Star, on Sunday, October 18. The ship had been delayed by bad weather and had 116 containers to unload. ■ The terminal stayed shut on Monday while five container ships were idle in port or at anchor.
