'to third year, or similar. ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL TESTING) Vacancy 5872 The second vacancy is for a Testroom Technician based at the Hamilton Depot, 160 Peachgrove Road, Hamilton. The work involves installation and maintenance of control and protection equipment, and commissioning of the major electrical plant for the generation and distribution of electrical power in the Hamilton district. The work is Interesting and challenging and our technicians gain valuable experience on a very wide range of equipment. Qualifications desired: E.T.C. equivalent N.Z.C.E. 3 year Certificate or City and Guilds Electrical Engineering Practice and experience in one or more of the following: —Heavy power plant and association equipment. —Metering and protection. —Supervisory or remote control and electronic equipment. —Switchgear.
