Chch woman aged 101 dies
One of Christchurch’s oldest residents. Mrs Muriel Margaret Bailey, died on Monday, aged 101. Mrs Bailey was born in Christchurch, but spent her married life in Timaru, returning to Christchurch in 1952 after the death of her husband. She lived in her St Albans home until her death. Mrs Bailey is survived by two sons, five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
