Jackpot struck
PA Wellington There was one successful ticket on the terminating jackpot at the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting at the week-end. The successful punter selected the winner of the fourth jackpot leg, Johnny Mac Faber, and received the pool of $2061.90.
A total of $1750 was put into the pool dn Monday’s meeting. A lucky punter also received $2633.25 when successful in selecting the first on-course treble. There was no ticket on Brown Echo, winner of the third leg, and the pool went to the sole ticket on runner-up, Princess Lopez.
