South African policies
Sir,—The results of apartheid could not happen in New Zealand? Imagine this country separated forever by independence from the British Commonwealth with a tough government such as now exists in South Africa amalgamating with South Africa-as a satellite nation and in doing so becoming the compulsory designated homeland for millions of unfortunate blacks. In the interests of rugger and better business deals an all-black All Black rugby team could easily be formed, with a Coloured perhaps included as a salve to even HART. How many nations signed a Gleneagles agreement with “tongue in cheek?”— Yours, etc., ROSIE WITTY. May-29, 1981.
