Women given top posts in commission

PA Wellington Women have been appointed director and deputy director of the Commission for the Future. The new director. Mrs Myra Harpham. replaces Commander R. Ryan, who resigned recently to stand as a Social Credit candidate in an Auckland electorate. The appointment of Mrs Harpham and Mrs Margaret Hunn as deputy director will be effective from tomorrow. Both women are from Wellington. The chairman of the commission, Professor James Duncan, said their appointment showed that the commission was putting into

practice its belief that 5 jobsharing was workable. The commission is a t present planning its pro . gramme for the next, two years.
