Drugs factor in murders?
PA, Auckland - . The Queensland police are investigating whether a murdered couple, including a former Dunedin woman, was involved in drugs. A The bodies of the couple, had still not been identified formally yesterday after they were found badly burned and with shotgun wounds in their burnt-out farmhouse nine days ago, near Mareeba, Queensland. Inspector John Fillingham
said the fire had been started to cover Up the murders. The dead are believed to be an Englishman, William Clarke, aged 36, and his Dunedin wife Grayuyda, aged 35. , Detectives are interviewing more than 100 people who lived nearby the remote farm or who knew them. “We are looking at the, possibility of their being heavily involved in the drug scene,” said Mr Fillingham.
