S.I. moto-cross titles
Warren Timpson (Christchurch), riding in the 250 cu cm class, was the only competitor to go unbeaten yesterday through the second round of the South Island gold star moto-cross championships at Tai Tapu. However, with one round remaining — at Timaru on June 14 — Peter Guthrie (Nelson) narrowly leads the class with 46 points to Timpson's 45. Results were:— 125 cu cm—Heat one: K. Reeves (Rangiora) 1.
