Forest and Bird Society
Sir.—Oliver Riddell's article in “The Press" today has brought to the notice of the public the unfortunate changes that are likely, and some of which have already taken place within the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society. Having been a member of this society for over 30 years, I feel very sad to think of such a caring and dedicated society being used by this “action group” to achieve its own goals and in doing so alter the aims of the society. I hope as many members as possible will voice their opposition to these moves.—Yours, etc., R. J. WILDING. May 27, 1981.
