Bid to boost farm production
PA Wellington rne Ministry ot Agriculture will introduce a farmmanagement campaign to boost agricultural production.
The aim is to inspire healthy national production increases by making better use of existing pasture land. Its focus will be a programme called Controlled Grazing Management systems.
The Ministry said that the system would boost the earnings of New Zealand's main export industry with little or no extra labour or capital costs.
The programme will encourage established practices rather than impose a “revolution from the top.”
