Testing completed
PA Wellington The Petroleum Corporation of New Zealand (Exploration), Ltd, yesterday announced completion of testing on the McKee No. 2 well in Taranaki.
. Results were being evaluated to establish a site for the third well on the McKee structure. Drilling of this would begin early in August. The corporation said a total of 45,024 barrels of oil had been produced during the test of the No. 2 well.
“The processing of seismic lines shot over the McKee field earlier in the year is now nearly complete.”
