‘Critical* injuries would have to be suffered before any changes to New Zealand's World Cup soccer squad could even be contemplated, according to Mr Gwyn Evans, the secretary of the New Zealand Football Association. .
F.1.F.A., the world governing body of soccer, has ruled that a squad of 22 can be named, including four nontravelling reserves. Only in exceptional circumstances can any alterations be made to that squad.
