Three killed
PA Wellington Three members of an Egmont Village family which was to have moved to a new home in New Plymouth today died after a collision between their car and a light truck south of New Plymouth late yesterday. They were Marjorie Amy Harrison,*;, aged 43, and her two daughters, Dawn Ngaomi, aged 12, and Stephanie Jan,aged 10. They are survived only by Mrs " Harrison's husb'and. Frank, who was not involved in the collision. The driver of the light truck, Murray James Gilmer, aged 21, of New Plymouth, was in a satisfactory condition in the Taranaki Base Hospital last evening having broken a leg. The accident happened about 5 p.m. in heavy traffic on a bend on State highway 3, near Lake Mangamahoe, about, 10km from New Plymouth. The woman killed when a car and a truck collided in Manukau yesterday morning was ‘ . Lilian Heather Lewis, aged 44, of Papakura, the i police said. ’ ' '
