Morphine charges
PA Auckland Two men have been committed to the High Court at Auckland for trial on morphine charges after a depositions hearing in the District Court. Thomas Arthur Adderley. aged 39. an entertainer, of Epsom, and David John Gapes, aged 38. a cafe proprietor, of Birkenhead, denied two joint charges of supplying morphine arid possessing morphine for supply. Adderley also denied two charges of supplying morphine and a charge of permitting his car to be used for the purpose of a commission of an offence against the Misuse of Drugs Act. They appeared before Messrs A. R. Gorbey and W. H. Christmas, Justices of the ] Peace. t
