The highly successful Mosgiel-based stallion, Noble Bijou, has made a remarkable recovery after shattering the fetlock (arrowed) of his near foreleg last March. The stallion is now able to gallop about his paddock at the White Robe Lodge Stud and a bump on the joint and a bent leg are the only indications of the injury. Two factors were a big influence in his recovery—the skill of the Mosgiel veterinarian, Mr Jim Murray, who contrived a brace to support the injured joint, and Noble Bijou’s quiet temperament.
