Indoor cricket
The second indoor cricket tournament to be organised by the St Albans club will be. held over the four Sunday evenings of September,! with the finals on September! 28. All men’s and women’s matches will be played at Pioneer Stadium. Lancaster Park, the men’s holder, Suburban, Sydenham, Old Collegians and Supporters Club, have been grouped in section one and will have their first games next Sunday.
A week later East-Shirley, Riccarton, St Albans, Old Boys and Ellesmere will contest the second section. |The women’s competition [begins on September 21 beI tween-St Albans, which won ! last-year, Sydenham, Riccarjton, Lancaster Park and an association XL The rules of the tournament have, only one change, innings being reduced from five, to four six-ball overs.
