A.C.C. payments
Sir, — Mr Quigley’s proposed A.C.C. payment cuts, together with education cuts, removal of subsidies and a prices “free for all” reveal Mr Muldoon’s policies as being modelled on the United Kingdom pattern. Under the Thatcher regime not to be rich indicates a. rather serious deficiency of character, and to be poor is not much short of criminal, ' The way the wind is blowing it looks as if these divisive tactics will bring us to the same level of class conflict and industrial apathy as that so often witnessed in Britain. — Yours, etc.,
JOHN BENSON. August 29, 1980.
