Arrests after damage
Three people have been arrested after an expensive win-dow-smashing spree in three Christchurch suburbs earlier this week.
A house in Upper Riccarton had its windows smashed and two near-by cars were damaged about 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday. Early on Wednesday, a house in Spreydon and .one in Halswell received similar treatment. The total damage was estimated at $lOOO.
Three persons were arrested soon after midday yesterday, and will be charged with unlawful assembly and intimidation.
