Smoke affects elderly man
An elderly man was treated at Christchurch Hospital for smoke inhalation yesterday morning after a pensioner flat at Wainoni caught fire. Fire engines from the central and Woolston stations attended the blaze, which gutted the Christchurch City Council flat, on the comer of Wildwood Avenue and Lyn Christie Place.
