Use of traps
Sir, — I read in a recent edition of “The Press” that Orana Park would be taking some kiwis that had been caught in traps and were now maimed and crippled. I suggest that next to their cage, they have exhibited the cruel trap that was responsible for their injuries. People then can visualise what agony they .and other wild . creatures go through when trapped this way. In spite of repeated'requests by concerned people,. the Government will not ban these cruel traps: '—- Yours, etc., ,'V. MITCHELL,
