Fluoridation
Sir, — Will those in favour of fluoridation never get the message that the more alert people of this, city want no further mass medication or adulteration of their food and water supplies for their own supposed good? We are not all morons and understand just as much biochemistry, the science of body maintenance, as these teeth alone experts and local political aspirants. Wiry not fight filthy pollution instead, or the poisoning of the soil as Professor Marsdon pointed out years ago, poisoning which is now a part of the ; food chain — D.D.T., 2,4,5-T, over-supply of superphosphate? Let these experts.? study more “bio-philosophy” and leave lesser issues alone. Many of us are holding lists of pro and antifluoridation councillors for the next election and will do our utmost to publicise them. — Yours, etc., W. J. COLLINS. August 26, 1980.
