Tuesday evening. Information was sketchy, but it is believed Miss Brown was found to be missing while the party was in the iMenali district, in northern i India, last month. M>,s Brown, who is also known as Sally, apparently .went for a day’s walk on her own on July 10. She did not I return. It is thought likely - she has drowned. The Indian police said late ’ last month that a body match- ■ ing the description of Miss ; i Brown was seen floating in j a river in the Menali district, I but disappeared.
