Indoor archery titles
PA Ashburton Only 12 archers attended the South Island indoor archery championships at Ashburton, but the organisers were pleased with the standard of competition. Davo McCauley (Christchurch) amassed a total score of 856 to take the men’s championship, and Ann Shurrock (Ashburton) clinched, the ladies’ event with victory In the men’s title was easy, but the minor placings were closely fought; there were only 12
points between the second and the sixth place-getters.
