Jet units stolen
The .Hornby C.L.B. would like to hear from any person who saw goods being removed from a C.W.F. Hamilton warehouse in Lunns Road, between 4 p.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. yesterday. Two Hamilton jet-boat engines, each valued at $2lOO, were taken from the warehouse. The 65kg engines were packed in white cartons with “Hamilton Jet 772” written in orange on the sides.
Detective R. J. Kerr, of Hornby, said that entry to the building was gained by removing the padlock from the warehouse door.
