Lecture by former Nixon aide
A former special counsel to President Nixon who was imprisoned for his involvement in the Watergate affair will lecture in Christchurch later this month. He is Chuck Colson, who became a “born-again Christian” during his stay in prison. Mr Colson is on a national tour sponsored by the Prison Fellowship of New Zealand. He is a former Marine who used to be a troubleshooter for the Nixon Administration. He once said he would step over his own grandmother to help Mr Nixon. Admission to the lecture, at Majestic House on August 30, is by invitation only.
