PA Wellington A report from the New Zealand observer team at the Rhodesian elections was tabled when Parliament sat at 9.30 a.m. yesterday. The annual reports of the Broadcasting Corporation and the Portage Licensing Trust were tabled. Members presented seven notices of motion. Ministers answered 23 questions.
The Apple and Pear Marketing Amendment Bill was reported back from the Lands and Agriculture Select Committee. The North Shore Drainage Amendment Bill and the ' Social Security Amendment Bill were reported back from select committees.
The second-reading debate on the Trade and Industry Amendment Bill was interrupted by the adjournment at 1 p.m.
