Technicians killed
Six technicians were killed and another seriously wounded in an explosion at an Israeli military installation “in the centre of the country," Israel Radio said. There was no immediate indication that sabotage was involved. Later the radio said the explosion occurred as the technicians were doing experiments on explosive materials. The Defence Ministry had ordered an inquiry, the radio added. — Tel Aviv.
