Bus depot to move
The removal of the Railway Road Services terminal to the Christchurch Railway Station has been approved in principle by the Christchurch City Council. The council will require provision for it to study detailed plans of the proposal, an assurance that the scheme will cause ‘minimum disruption to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Moorhouse Avenue, and the provision of satisfactory arrangements for taxis and Transport Board buses by the main entrance to the station.
