The Commission of Inquiry into the Marginal Lands Board loan application by Mr and Mrs J. M. Fitzgerald will hold a preliminary hearing in Wellington on Thursday, July 24. the All or n e y-General (Mr McLay) announced yesterday. This would decide proce-
dures to be followed and establish who the interested parties would be at the full hearing to be held in the week beginning on August 25, Mr McLay said. Submissions must be lodged by August 8. The inquiry will be conducted by Mr Justice Mills, now of Wanaka, a former temporary judge of the Supreme Court.
