Pigeon racing results
The Christchurch Racing Pigeon Federation finished its racing programme last week with races from three separate starting points — Upper Hutt, Kaikoura and Pictbn.
Alf Wyatt of the East Christchurch Club had the best average for the three races — 1148.500 metres-a-minute velocity. Birds from Mystic Lofts of the North Christchurch club won the Kaikoura and Upper Hutt races. The winning bird covered the 166 km from Kaikoura in 2h 14 min. and the 343 km from Upper Hutt in 4h 37min. Upper Hutt: Mystic Lofts,
