Ship sinks; 14 dead
NZPA-Reuter Manila At least 887 people were rescued after a passenger ship sank after being in collision with an oil tanker barge off Mindoro Island,’ south of Manila, yesterday. The Coast Guard commander, Mr Simeon Alejandro, said that 14 people were confirmed dead and 59 were still missing after the collision.
