Petrol-use decline
PA Wellington New Zealanders have used less petrol in recent months than in the corresponding period last year. Motor spirit consumption figures issued at yesterday’s meeting of the National Roads Board showed a continuing decline.
For the year ended March 1, 1980, the drop was 5.1 per cent.
