A sad and disappointed Merrill Osmond left London for home on Sunday after pulling out of his family’s farewell British
tour with a heart complaint. ’ - '. • “The doctors have ordered me a - complete rest Without that they’ve said I would almost certainly be heading for a bad heart attack,” the 26-year-old star said on his departure from Heathrow 'Airport, ; “I went against doctors’ orders and decided to come to Britain so as not to disappoint bur loyal fans. But after my first couple of appearances I had a long discussion with my brothers and sister Marie, . who vetoed the idea of me staying on.” “I am going to take a very long rest on .my father’s ranch and. perhaps . see more specialists,” . he told reporters.
