Cash shortage main worry
Wellington ! The shortage of cash in (New Zealand has meant j pressure on debtors, delays jin paying creditors, and reduced the ability to finance new plant and equipment, said the executive director! of the Employers Federation; (Mr J. W. Rowe) in a statement, following a meeting of the Employers Federation, the Manufacturers Federation, the Chambers of Commerce and the Retailers Fedtion. Liquidity was the major concern for the business community. A stock adjustment allowance or some alternative means of easing the liquidity problems was urgent but the underlying problem was inflation, especially when it was accelerating, as it has been lately, he said.
