Sir, —The Town Clerk replies to M. Murphy (April 5) that weed growth in the' St Albans area in recent weeks has been significant; What about the other areas?; It' would appear that a district known for flooding is being sadly neglected. Surely preventive works should -be carried out around this area at all times, and maybe bring it back to its once high standard.—Yours, etc., - FRANK HOOPER. April 9, 1980. ” '
