Airline policy
Sir, — Singapore Airlines’ criticism of your travel editor is to be supported. His continuing campaign against the DCIO and Air New Zealand has reached the stage of vendetta. He incites a dribble of correspondents, often misinformed, who also delight in criticising the aeroplane, the airline and its staff. The cause would be better served by directing this criticism to the Government, at whose door responsibility for the problems of merger and fuel tax more correctly lies, rather than continue to kick the airline while it is down. — Yours, etC ” G.
