Legal advice sought
| PA Wellington I The Maranui water polo club, of Wellington, will seek legal advice about a national championship final which ended in controversy in Auckland at the weekend, said the club chairman, Mr Bill Dyson, yesterday. Club members, he said, believed that a real injustice
had been done to the club. “As far as we are concerned, it’s quite clear Maranui won the championship,” said Mr Dyson. Hutt, Maranui’s rival in the final, was declared the national champion on Sunday, but in controversial circumstances after it had played a 6-6 draw on Saturday.
