N.Z. in exercise
PA Wellington New Zealand will join Australia and three other Pacific nations in a big maritime and air exercise in the mid-Pacific starting tomorrow. The exercise, known, as Rirnpac 80, will include the United States, Canada, Japan and New Zealand.
Forty seven ships, 215 aircraft and about 20,900 personnel will take part. Rirnpac 80 is the sevin a series of fleet, exercise for “rim of the Pacif-: ic" nations. ' - . :
The exercise, will conclude on March 18 when all participants will visit Pearl Harbour.
