Official road toll zero

PA Wellington No road death had been reported to the Ministry of Transport by 9 p.m, yesterday for the official Christmas-New Year holiday period. A Ministry spokesman in Wellington said drivers’ behaviour so far had given “few problems” although he was not able to say how many drivers had had their keys taken from them or had had their breath tested.
