Cocktail awards
One of six semi-finals for the 1979 “Cocktail Barperson of the Year” award will be held in Christchurch on October 17.
Other semi-finals will be held in Wellington, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Auckland, and Dunedin. The best mixer will be chosen in Auckland on October 30. The winner will receive a trip for two to Hawaii, gift packs, and his employer will receive $250 worth of free advertising. Runners-up will receive cash prizes and gift packs.
