PA Wellington Singapore would like to see some liberalisation of New Zealand immigration controls, its High Commissioner, Mr H. K. Chan, said in Wellington yesterday. “Our businessmen, who include many millionaires, have been ven’
offended to go to the (New Zealand) High Commission to be asked if they have the money to pay for their return passage,” Mr Chan said.
He was speaking during a seminar on New Zea-land-South-East Asia relations at Victoria University.
