Boxer dies of injuries
NZPA Welkon, South Africa A professional boxer, Samuel Tshabalala, died at Welkon yesterday of suspected brain injuries, after a welterweight fight on Saturday evening, hospital officials said. Tshabalala lost on an eight-round technical knockout to the Orange Free State champion, Simon Motake. The. superintendent of the Ernest Oppenheimer Hospital said that Tshabalala had been unconscious and in critical condition when he was admitted.
